Salaamedia was an idea born in the Ramadaan of 2015. Salaamedia is the culmination of years of experience in mainstream and Islamic media combined with a dream to see a multi-media agency that would serve the agenda of the people. Salaamedia, in its own unique sphere, aims to promote honest, ethical and independent journalism that will elevate the voice of the voiceless and highlight human stories while seeking to inspire people towards active citizenry. One way we participate in our own community is by putting our money where our mouth is, Salaamedia fulfills a Corporate Social Responsibility quota on an ongoing basis, making an advertising spend with Salaamedia, an ethical spend. During Salaamedia’s six year existence it has remained a focused and unique alternative, unafraid of change, thereby creating a relevant and appealing audio-visual experience to a constantly developing audience.
